to the lad wanting to know where to fish greenod is great at high water caught 10 within1hr and half all flounder 1lb to 2lb made damn good eating 3rd week in nov 2011

I’m not sure here to fish up there on such a big tide but ‘down’ here Fairhaven, Lytham St. Annes would be a good bet for Flounder an hour and a half either side of high, alternatively if you want to travel Fort Perch Rock on the Wirral at the mouth of the Mersey is throwing up some Thornback Ray over low water – aim to get there 2 hours before and fish till about an hour and a half after low using sandeel as bait on big hooks.

Bit of an odd time of year though as the summer hasn’t really kicked off yet and all the winter species have left :(

Hi, ive been sea fishing for 8 years now, im only 15, and my grandad is a fisherman and he lives in Morecambe ive come up and we are hoping to go fishign this week when the tides are higher we have fished at morecambe soo many times and also at Heysaham and at arneside and at sandside but we arnte reli sure wear the best place to fish is :) thanks
