Cheers for the comment.

Not sure whats going on at the moment though, the one on the left, Golden Bamboo (Phyllostachys Aurea) seems to be dropping leaves. We put some feed in the soil when we planted them and watered them in - i'm wondering if its too wet as the drainage isn't very good.

Although tonight when i had a 'feel' it seemed dry(ish) so i've watered them both and well see what happens in the next few days.

You'll love it even more in a few years when it fills in. My entire fence line is bamboo now, and I no longer can see the neighbor's house. Finally, sanctuary!
